  18. Actually, it seems like UAE runs most Amiga programs at least as well as
  19. E586 and PCTask run Windows programs.  However, I'll have to admit that
  20. I'm only basing this on descriptions that I've read of E586 and PCTask.

  22. This alone does not make UAE "useful," since the standards of comparison
  23. are so low, but it is an emulation, and should rightly be grouped with and
  24. compared to other emulations. I think the reluctance by some people to admit
  25. that it works is based more on some kind of Amiga advocacy than an
  26. objective comparison of its capabilities.  IIRC, similar attitudes were
  27. evident among Mac advocates when the first Mac emulators appeared.
